Developer wins 'Net litigation

Casino resort developer Steve Wynn of Las Vegas and his company, Wynn Resorts LLC, won a default judgment to recover six domain names that infringed the Wynn trademark.

Wynn sued four Californian registrants of the Internet domain names "wynnresorts.com," "stevewynnresorts.com," "wynngaming.com" and "wynncasino.com" in U.S. District Court in Las Vegas.

The defendants also included a Carnegie, Pa.-based registrant of "stevenwynn.net" and a Canadian registrant of "wynnproperties.com."
