Former Tyco chief indicted

NEW YORK -- Former Tyco International Ltd. Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Dennis Kozlowski was indicted in New York for personal sales tax evasion today, a spokeswoman for the Manhattan district attorney's office said.
Kozlowski may have avoided paying $650,000 to $1 million in sales taxes on as much as $12 million in artwork, the New York Times reported.
