Mary E. Boos

Mary E. Boos, 100, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospice. She was born April 8, 1902, in Wakonda, S.D. A resident for 12 years, she was a retired registered nurse.

She is survived by one daughter, Mary Whittey of Galt, Calif.; one son, Joseph T. Boos of Las Vegas; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Colette A. Brie

Colette A. Brie, 77, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. She was born Dec. 20, 1924, in France. A resident for 10 years, she was a retired waitress.

She is survived by two sisters, Renee Rogers of Las Vegas and Aimee Lozach of France; and one brother, Bernard Brie of France.

Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling private arrangements.

The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Alice F. Brown

Alice F. Brown, 57, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born Jan. 9, 1945, in New Jersey. A resident for 21 years, she was a casino carousel attendant.

She is survived by two daughters, Tonya Brown-Merasuentes and Kimberly Scapellato, both of Las Vegas; two sons, David Brown of Las Vegas and Charles Gales of Pompano Beach, Fla.; one sister, Izola Fix, and one brother, Charles Gallagher, both of San Diego; and seven grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Louis Cornfield

Louis Cornfield, 76, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 29, 1925, in Quebec. A resident for 12 years, he was a retired floral shop owner and a veteran of the Royal Canadian Air Force.

He is survived by his wife, Seema; one son, Brian Cornfield of Seattle; two daughters, Franceen McBroom and Jennie Morris, both of Las Vegas; three brothers, Ben Cornfield, Al Cornfield and Sam Cornfield, and two sisters, Anne Ikeman and Rose Letovsky, all of Montreal; and seven grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at noon today in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.

Salvador A. Elisarraras

Salvador A. Elisarraras, 70, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. He was born Dec. 23, 1931, in Santa Margarita, Calif. A resident for 24 years, he worked in construction cleanup and was an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by five children, Teresa Jeffries of Santa Barbara, Calif., and Phyllis Sanchez, Timothy Elisarraras, Jessie Lopez and Sheila Juarez, all of Las Vegas; two brothers, Johnny Elisarraras of Las Vegas and Marcus Elisarraras of Paso Robles, Calif.; two sisters, Inez Arebalo of Paso Robles and Mable Gonglez of Henderson; 24 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service will be 10:20 a.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Charles Essex

Charles Essex, 77, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 20, 1924, in Whitestown, Ind. A resident for 30 years, he was a retired service station owner and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Rose; two sons, Mike Essex and Steve Essex, and one daughter, Susan Essex, all of Las Vegas; one sister, June Shepherd of Lebanon, Ind.; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Kenneth W. Felkins

Kenneth W. Felkins, 93, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospice. He was born Feb. 23, 1909, in Salt Lake City. A resident for 45 years, he was a retired machinist and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Lu Gean Felkins and Joy D. Cotrone, both of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2-7 p.m. Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Chapel, Eastern. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Roslyn Jarmel

Roslyn Jarmel, 74, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born April 16, 1928, in New York. A resident for seven years, she was a retired Verizon and AT&T executive.

She is survived by her husband, Irving; one son, Mark Jarmel; and one daughter, Ellin Jarmel.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Pauline Johnson

Pauline Johnson, 42, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 13, 1959, in Henderson. A lifelong resident, she was a hotel housekeeper.

She is survived by her husband, Reuben; two daughters, Eliska Hartz of Las Vegas and Essie Lue Yazzie of New Mexico; one stepson, Robert Johnson, and one stepdaughter, Elizabeth Johnson, both of San Diego; her mother, Essie Lue Newell of Mississippi; six brothers, Hugh Dee Ealy of San Diego, Willie Ealy, Allan Ealy, Charles Ealy and Sanford Ealy, all of Las Vegas, and Leonard Ealy of Mississippi; two sisters, Vergie Rabb of Las Vegas and Adraine Johnson of Mississippi; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Tuesday in American Burial and Cremation Services, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Calvary Southern Baptist Church, 1600 E. Cartier Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Ernest E. Kerr-Lemmon

Ernest E. Kerr-Lemmon, 66, of North Las Vegas died June 17 in a local hospital. He was born May 6, 1936, in Akron, Ohio. A resident for 27 years, he was a painter in the construction industry.

He is survived by one sister, Rose Barlow of Akron.

Charles Fremont Noss Jr.

Charles Fremont Noss Jr., 80, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born March 29, 1922, in Bridgeton, N.J. A resident for 22 years, he was a Western Electric telephone supervisor for 40 years and a World War II veteran of the Merchant Marines.

He is survived by his wife, Eileen; one son, Charles Fremont Noss III of Las Vegas; one daughter, Sharon Dotson of Sacramento; one brother, James R. Noss, and one sister, Marie Mixner, both of Whittier, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

John Pasqualetto

John Pasqualetto, 81, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born April 27, 1921, in Boston. A resident for 15 years, he was a maintenance man and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.

He is survived by two brothers, Gaspar Pasqualetto and Frank Pasqualetto, both of Pomona, Calif.

Anita May Stephens-Drew

Anita May Stephens-Drew, 78, of Mesquite died Saturday in St. George, Utah. She was born Jan. 7, 1924, in Pasadena, Calif. A resident of Southern Nevada for 38 years, she was a former bingo supervisor at the Showboat hotel and an employee at the Casablanca.

She is survived by one daughter, Gail Smiley of Mesquite; five sons, Marshall Carlson of Mesquite, John Hudson of Manton, Calif., Jack Hudson of Lakewood, Colo., and Jim Hudson and Jeff Hudson, both of Las Vegas; two sisters, Caroline Brooks and Florence Hudson, and one brother, Alfred Stephens, all of Red Bluff, Calif.; 20 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren.
