Learn how to save your pet

The American Red Cross will hold a Pet CPR course from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Wednesday at 3672 N. Rancho Drive.

During the four-hour class pet lovers will learn life-saving "mouth to snout" techniques. Participants will also learn how to find a pulse and take care of broken bones on their pet.

Tribute to Keller, Winget is planned

The Police Athletic League and the Business Watch Network are co-sponsoring a tribute to Sheriff Jerry Keller and Undersheriff Richard Winget on Thursday to thank them for their years of service to the community.

In addition to honoring the individuals, the funds raised at the event will benefit two community-oriented non-profit organizations and their programs.

Flu shot clinics
