Midnight Mayhem hosts street racers

Midnight Mayhem, a grudge drag racing program, will begin its second season at 8 tonight at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Midnight Mayhem was designed to attract illegal street racers to a safer environment.

Grudge drags will run from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. and will be conducted in a manner similar to what illegal street racers are used to.

Entry fee is $10; $5 for spectators.

Midnight Mayhem is open to any licensed driver with a currently registered car or motorcycle with proof of insurance. Cars/bikes must be driven (not towed) to the track.
