Thomas David Ashe

Thomas David Ashe, 70, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born March 5, 1933, in Buffalo, N.Y. A resident for six years, he was a retired Marine Corps major, a Vietnam War veteran and a member of the Marine Corps League.

He is survived by his wife, Edda; one daughter, Jeanne Nangle of El Dorado Hills, Calif.; two brothers, Dick Ashe of Orlando, Fla., and Jim Ashe of San Gabriel, Calif.; and two grandsons.

Graveside services will be 11:20 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd., is handling arrangements.

The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119, or the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Gabriel Banegas

Gabriel Banegas, 37, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A resident for eight years, he was born Feb. 26, 1966, in Phoenix.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Hernandez-Banegas; five children, Destiny, Brandon, Hailey, Keeley and Jonathan; his mother, Marygene Walthers-Zamilpa; his father, Daniel Banegas; his stepfather, Jesse Zamilpa; and his stepmother, Rosemary Banegas.

Sunrise Cremation & Burial Society, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 5, Henderson, is handling private arrangements.

Robert L. Bradshaw

Robert L. Bradshaw, 69, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 26, 1934, in Louisiana. A resident for 25 years, he was a retired truck driver and a Korean War Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by four daughters, Robbie Bradshaw, Gay Bradshaw and Deidre Bradshaw, all of Flint, Mich., and Shenee Parker of Las Vegas; three sons, Angelo Bradshaw of Portage, Mich., Roderick Bradshaw of Flint and Ryan Kennedy of Las Vegas; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Carl Lippon

Carl Lippon, 84, of Henderson died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 16, 1918, in Springfield, Ill. A resident for 17 years, he was a retired compensation analyst for a defense contractor and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Una; three sons, Frank Lippon of Weaverville, N.C., Richard Lippon of Henderson and Dennis Lippon of Redondo Beach, Calif.; one sister, Rose Linton of Springfield, Ill.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

James J. Murray

James J. Murray, 72, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born July 23, 1930, in Dublin, Ireland. A resident for 41 years, he was a sous chef at the Desert Inn and an executive chef at the Stardust and Dunes.

He is survived by his wife, Fran Baldare-Murray; two daughters, Daniele Kelly of North Las Vegas and Ursula Murray of Henderson; four sons, Kieran Murray and Seamus Murray, both of Las Vegas, Robert Murray of Boulder City and Brendan Murray of Brookline, Mass.; one stepdaughter, Laurie Baldare, and one stepson, Dennis Baldare, both of Las Vegas; four brothers, Brendan Murray of Wales, Colm Murray and Donal Murray, both of Ireland, and Pearse Murray of Albany, N.Y.; three sisters, Finola Murray of Ireland and Veronica Murray and Ursula Lowson, both of England; and 11 grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 90 minutes prior to a 6 p.m. rosary Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. A second memorial service will be 11 a.m. Saturday in St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 4519 Simmons St., North Las Vegas.

John Napolin

John Napolin, 88, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 27, 1914, in St. Louis. A resident for 50 years, he was a retired health food store owner and a bartender at the Stardust and Dunes hotels.

He is survived by his wife, Bessie; one stepson, David L. Lancaster of Las Vegas; one sister, Bea Orlando of Royal Oak, Mich.; two grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a noon service Wednesday in Davis Paradise Valley Funeral Home, 6200 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens.

The family suggests donations to New Hope Hospice, 8 Sunset Way, Henderson.

Diana L. Washington

Diana L. Washington, 35, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born July 30, 1967, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Lonell Washington; six brothers, Ronald Williams, Donald Williams, Marcus Washington Sr., Cardell Washington, Amando Washington and Kevin Washington Sr.; and six sisters, Jewel Washington, Yolanda Washington, Emily Washington, Crystal Washington, Agnes Washington and Anngel Washington, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Tuesday in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Church of the Lord Jesus, 1260 W. Bartlett Ave. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.
