Arts festival

More than 100 artists from Nevada, California, Arizona and Utah will be featured in an arts and crafts festival from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the Green Valley Town Center, 4500 E. Sunset Road. 245-6077.

Abstract sculptures

Las Vegas sculptor Evgeni Vodenitcharov's abstract art, "Suite #21" will be on display from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through May 30 at the Clark County Government Center, 500 S. Grand Central Parkway. 455-8239.

Artist on display

Wayne Littlejohn, a Community College of Southern Nevada fine arts instructor, is exhibiting his Baroque-inspired biomorphic jellyfish paintings and sculptures at the Nevada Arts Council, 821 S. Seventh St., until May 30. 486-3700.

Gallery exhibit

Smithsonian exhibit

The Las Vegas Valley Water District is hosting a Smithsonian Institution exhibit, "Barn Again, Celebrating an American Icon," featuring the importance of barns to American history, through May 15 at 1001 S. Valley View Blvd. 870-2011.

Asian art

Asian Art Now 2003, an exhibit featuring the work of 75 members of the Asian Cultural Exchange Association representing 10 countries, can be seen through June 22 at Las Vegas Art Museum, 9600 W. Sahara Ave. Admission is $5; $3 for seniors, $2 for students; free for 12 and under. 360-8000.

Asian influence

Watercolors

"Watercolors From Across the West," the Western Federation of Watercolor Socities' 28th exhibition hosted by the Nevada Watercolor Society, can be viewed until June 16 at UNLV's Marjorie Barrick Museum.
