The human resources department of the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority has won a national award for its employee services programs.
The Employee Services Management Association will present the LVCVA with its Floyd Eastwood Award this week at the organization's 62nd conference and exhibit in Orlando, Fla.
The award is named for the first president of the ESM, a nonprofit association of 2,000 human resources organizations nationwide.
The LVCVA, one of 2,000 members of the organization eligible to win the award, was recognized for the implementation of employee assistance and wellness programs and for providing a wide variety of employee benefits.
