Sandra Turner Albano

Sandra Turner Albano, 62, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 29, 1940, in St. Louis. A resident for 37 years, she was a supervisor for the Culinary Union.

She is survived by her husband, Tony; one son, Jack Lee Turner Jr. of Irvine, Calif.; one stepson, Joe Albany of Gresham, Ore.; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be 5 p.m. Friday in Desert Hills Baptist Church, 4401 S. Nellis Blvd. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Charles T. Angelico

Charles T. Angelico, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born June 21, 1924, in Marblehead, Mass. A resident for 33 years, he was a retired poker floorman and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Joan A.; one daughter, Christine Hill, and one son, Joseph Angelico, both of Las Vegas; four sisters, Ann Santos, Mary Gamache, Liz Foley and Margaret Kennedy, all of Massachusetts; three brothers, Paul Angelico of Las Vegas, George Angelico of Massachusetts and Louis Angelico of California; and four grandchildren.

Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson, is handling private arrangements.

Esther L. Campbell

Esther L. Campbell, 89, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born July 6, 1913, in Courtland, Miss. A resident for 24 years, she was an assemblywoman for a fan manufacturer.

She is survived by one daughter, Peggy Eicher of Las Vegas; one grandchild; and three great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled two hours prior to an 11 a.m. service Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Mausoleum.

Ulysses Campbell

Ulysses Campbell, 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. An employee for the Chicago Housing Authority, he was born Sept. 21. 1929, in Sturgess, Ky.

He is survived by his executor, Pauline Porter of Las Vegas.

Linda Bybee Christensen

Linda Bybee Christensen, 50, of Las Vegas died May 8 in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 19, 1952, in Cedar City, Utah. A resident for 20 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Lewis; six sons, Wyatt Christensen of Kansas City, Mo., David Christensen of Charleston, S.C., and Michael Christensen, Joseph Christensen, Jared Christensen and James Christensen, all of Las Vegas; her mother, Jane Bybee of Las Vegas; three brothers, McClain Bybee of Orem, Utah, and Shane Bybee and Kevin Bybee, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Karen Livingston of South Jordan, Utah; and three grandchildren.

Albert C. Cochran

Albert C. Cochran, 75, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. An interviewer, he was born June 5, 1927, in Pennsylvania.

He is survived by lifelong friend, Douglas E. Vogelei of Las Vegas.

Dustin Craig Coffman

Dustin Craig Coffman, 31, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 15, 1972, in Denver. A resident for 30 years, he was a carpenter, a St. Viator soccer player and a member of Carpenters Local 1977.

He is survived by his companion, Melissa Fiske, one daughter, Chelsea Coffman, his parents, Craig and Cheryl Coffman, and one brother, Corey Coffman, all of Las Vegas; his grandparents, Bob and Arlene Brand of Lubbock, Texas, Charles and Loretta Julian of Houston and Dick and Mary Alice Mruz of Denver; and his great-grandmother, Lillian B. Davis of Kerrville, Texas.

Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. today in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be noon Friday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.

Mary A. Connealy

Mary A. Connealy, 88, of North Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 14, 1914, in Cottonwood, Idaho. A resident for two years, she was a retired registered nurse.

She is survived by one son, Dennis G. Connealy of Forest, Va.; one daughter, Judy Jeffords of North Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Ed Cordova

Ed Cordova, 73, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born April 25, 1930, in Fort Garland, Colo. A resident for 27 years, he was a retired Air Force master sergeant and Korean War and Vietnam War veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Noreen; one stepdaughter, Rona Morton of Las Vegas and Cameron Cook and Jamie Cook, both of England; two sisters, Margaret Arguello and Estella Cordova, both of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and one grandchildren.

Services will be noon Tuesday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Graveside services will follow at 1:20 p.m. Tuesday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Thomas Lynn Dotson

Thomas Lynn Dotson, 65, of Blue Diamond died Monday in Blue Diamond. He was born May 5, 1938, in Texas. A resident for 47 years, he was a heavy equipment operator.

He is survived by one daughter, Audrey Dotson of Blue Diamond; two sons, Douglas Dotson and Cody Dotson, both of Las Vegas; three sisters, Latrice Dotson and Earnestine Howell, both of Nevada, and Triena Coufaul of Texas; four brothers, James Dotson of Nevada and Marshall Dotson, Herbert Brookshire and Dudley Brookshire, all of Texas; and six grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 2:30-4:30 p.m. Friday in Hites Funeral Services, 438 W. Sunset Road, Henderson. Burial will be in Texas.

Joseph Douglas

Joseph Douglas, 51, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born April 8, 1952, in Toledo, Ohio. A resident for one year, he was a recreational vehicle salesman.

He is survived by his fiancee, Lynne Sulier of Las Vegas; and one brother, Neil Douglas of Brandon, Fla.

Donald I. Duke

Donald I. Duke, 50, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 11, 1953, in California. A resident for 23 years, he was a construction worker and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce; one son, Ronald; his parents, Hector and Joanne Duke; three sisters, Madelynn Bogert, Diane and Debbie; and one brother, Dennis.

Ethel M. Dulin

Ethel M. Dulin, 71, of Henderson died Tuesday in Henderson. She was born Aug. 18, 1931, in Morehead, Ky. A resident for 13 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Noah; two daughters, Cynthia Gay of Henderson and Melinda Withers of Las Vegas; one brother, Wendell Baldridge of Morehead; and three grandchildren.

Lucien W. Ellis

Lucien W. Ellis, 84, of Boulder City died Wednesday in Boulder City. He was born Jan. 13, 1919, in Mitchfield, Ky. A resident for one month, he was a carpenter and a World War II Navy veteran and former prisoner of war.

He is survived by one daughter, Ola Rohrberg of Las Vegas; and two granddaughters.

Services will be in Delphos, Ohio. Boulder City Family Mortuary, 833 Nevada Way, Suite 1, is handling arrangements.

Margaret A. Ellis

Margaret A. Ellis, 80, of Indiana, died May 15 in Indiana. She was born June 10, 1922, in Indianapolis. A former Las Vegas resident, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, David Gooch of Spokane, Wash., and Dave Ellis Jr. of Las Vegas; two daughters, Penny Stewart of Fortville, Ind., and Sondra Fleury of Sacramento; two brothers, Matthew Franzen of Washington state and Jacob Franzen of California; two sisters, Magdalena Stewart of California and Gertrude Heller of Washington state; seven grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Herman E. Fisher Jr.

Herman E. Fisher Jr., 73, of North Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born June 20, 1929, in Kansas City, Mo. A resident for 65 years, he served eight years as justice of the peace in North Las Vegas, practiced law, was a Marine Corps veteran and a member of the Clark County and Nevada Bar associations.

He is survived by two sons, Martin Fisher and Greg Fisher, both of Las Vegas; and one grandchild.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Robert F. Loveless

Robert F. Loveless, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 4, 1918, in Decatur, Ill. A resident for seven years, he was a retired utility consultant and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Faith; and one sister, Beth Armsey of Urbana, Ill.

Thomas J. Magliolo

Thomas J. Magliolo, 77, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Oct. 22, 1925, in Memphis, Tenn. A resident for 15 years, he retired from a meat manufacturing company.

He is survived by his wife, Thelma B.; three daughters, Diane Magliolo of Charleston, Miss., and Teresa Browning and Jeanette Larson, both of Batesville, Miss.; two sons, Thomas Magliolo Jr. of Foley, Ala., and Paul Magliolo of Lebanon, Tenn.; one sister, Bernice Barone of Memphis; 19 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Sylvia Mahanna

Sylvia Mahanna, 97, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local health care center. She was born Oct. 7, 1905, in Richfield, Utah. A resident for 42 years, she was an artist and a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Betty Gammon of Las Vegas; four grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to a 3 p.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park.

Louis E. Mashburn

Louis E. Mashburn, 81, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born April 29, 1922, in Miami, Okla. A resident for one year, he was a general manager at the retail level, a World War II and Korean War Navy veteran who was awarded two Purple Hearts.

He is survived by his wife, Dr. Miryam A. Mashburn; two sons, Glen Mashburn and Everette Mashburn, both of California; one daughter, Doris Acosta of Arizona; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 12:40 p.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Elizabeth H. Reed

Elizabeth H. Reed, 78, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. She was born Aug. 16, 1924, in Elmont, N.Y. A resident for 49 years, she was a retired bookkeeper for an auto repair shop.

She is survived by one son, Philip J. Reed, and one daughter, Kathleen J. Reed, both of Las Vegas; one sister, Katherine Alexis of St. George, Utah; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

J. Richard Rickman

J. Richard Rickman, 78, of North Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. He was born June 16, 1924, in Perry, Okla. A resident for 51 years, he was a retired cable splicer for the telephone company and a World War II Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Myrna; two daughters, Danelle McBride of Las Vegas and Linda Rickman of North Las Vegas; one son, Bruce Rickman of Pahrump; three sisters, Ruth Loustaneau and Faye Ables, both of Tehachapi, Calif., and Pat Reynolds of Lexington, Ky.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Roberta M. Savidge, 67, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was born Nov. 11, 1935, in California. A resident for 13 years, she was a government computer operator and a former member of the Women's Moose Club.

She is survived by her husband, Jack; two sons, David Neal and Steven Neal; and one brother, Norman Long.

Victor Scaramosino

Victor Scaramosino, 84, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Nov. 23, 1918, in Emporium, Pa. A resident for 46 years, he was a retired county chief building inspector, a World War II Navy veteran, held a position on the Medical Board for six years and was a member of the Italian American Club.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lydia; three daughters, Maryann Tripp and Joanna Pollard, both of Las Vegas, and Vicki Crowley of Westerville, Ohio; one sister, Yolanda Provinziano of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 3-7 p.m. Friday with a 6 p.m. service in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Gus J. Sklavos, 84, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. A retired Air Force chief warrant officer and World War II veteran, he was born Sept. 1, 1918, in Wisconsin.

Kevin Dee Staples

Kevin Dee Staples, 52, of Twinsburg, Ohio, died Wednesday in Madison Heights, Mich. He was born May 29, 1950, in Fillmore, Utah. A former Las Vegas resident for 25 years, he was a regional vice president of Rite-Aid Drug Stores, coached son's Little League baseball and YMCA basketball.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa G.; two daughters, Valerie Staples and Stephanie Robinette, both of Las Vegas; one brother, Larry Staples of Utah; two sisters, Jamie Larsen of Idaho and Joyce Arend of Utah; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 6-8 p.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Additional visitation is scheduled 9:30-10:40 a.m. with services following at 11 a.m. Saturday in the LDS chapel, 6100 Alta Drive. Graveside services will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Gary Weichelt, 52, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Henderson. A businessman, he was born July 28, 1950, in Texas.

She is survived by three daughters, Patricia Fredrickson of Las Vegas, Judith Suchan of Columbia Falls, Mont., and Donna Wheeler of Dallas; one sister, Mary Ostberg of Redondo Beach, Calif.; one brother, William Eakley of Palm Harbor, Fla.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
