Mary Bunin

Mary Bunin, 67, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born March 8, 1936, in Harrisburg, Pa. A resident for 21 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by three sons, Joe Bunin and Dan Bunin, both of Las Vegas, and Mike Bunin of Los Angeles.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane.

The family suggests donations to the American Cancer Society, 1325 E. Harmon Ave., Las Vegas, NV 89119.

Constance L. Chivers

Constance L. Chivers, 73, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born Nov. 5, 1930, in Minnesota. A resident for eight years, she was an educator, a newspaper writer, a member of Senior Singers Group, a recipient of the Literacy Teachers Award and was a pianist for the Salvation Army.

She is survived by one son, Steven Wayne Bowman of Lancaster, Calif.

Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Stanley Cohen

Stanley Cohen, 77, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Sept. 14, 1926, in New York. A resident for 14 years, he was a retired mail carrier.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two sons, Bruce Cohen of Prescott, Ariz., and Glenn Cohen of LaHabra, Calif.; and four grandchildren.

Graveside services will be in California. King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane, is handling arrangements.

Mildred Corrigan

Mildred Corrigan, 79, of Henderson died Sunday in a local health care center. She was born Aug. 27, 1924, in Hope, Ark. A resident for 15 years, she was a retired motel manager.

She is survived by three daughters, Carol Hulbert, Linda Witthaus and Shirley Dokos; two sisters, Jonita Daniels and Corinne Grandy; 14 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Edward Dombcik

Edward Dombcik, 72, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born March 21, 1931, in Cleveland. A resident for 40 years, he was a card dealer.

He is survived by one daughter, Rebecca Dombcik of Kennewick, Wash.; his father, Samuel Dombcik, and one sister, Elaine Shendal, both of Las Vegas.

Services will be noon Wednesday in King David Memorial Chapel and Cemetery, 2697 Eldorado Lane. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

John Giordano

John Giordano, 67, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born July 12, 1936, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for five years, he was a retired truck driver and an Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; three daughters, Angela Klein, Rosemarie Edlecce and Madeline Noetzel, all of Las Vegas; three sisters, Frances Pacia and Lucine Carnevale, both of New York, and Theresa Wunk of New Jersey; and six grandchildren.

Visitation will continue until 7 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave. Mass will be celebrated noon Wednesday in St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 1111 Michael Way. Burial will follow in Palm Memorial Park, Northwest, 6701 N. Jones Blvd.

Raymond Goldstein

Raymond Goldstein, 90, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospital. He was born June 12, 1913, in St. Louis. A resident for seven years, he was a retired owner-operator of boarding care homes.

He is survived by his wife, Jeannette; one daughter, Sandra of Las Vegas; one son, Seymour of Los Angeles; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a 2 p.m. service Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Jonathan Lee Jett

Jonathan Lee Jett, 24, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. A computer programmer, he was born June 27, 1979, in Jacksonville, N.C.

He is survived by one son, Ian David Wesley Halick-Jett of Las Vegas; his mother and stepfather, Debra and Larry Cone of Dasher, Ga.; his father and stepmother, Frankie and Barbara Jett of Costa Rica; one sister, Jennifer Jett of Valdosta, Ga.; his grandparents, Leadrew and Eva Swindell of Hobucken, N.C., and Frankie and Martha Jett of Palmetto, Ga.; and his step-grandmother, Mary Cone of Lake Park, Ga.

No local services are scheduled. Services and burial will be in Georgia. Carson McLane Funeral Home, Valdosta, handled out-of-town arrangements. Palm Mortuary assisted the family in Las Vegas.

Lula Lamar

Lula Lamar, 74, of Las Vegas died Nov. 4 in a local hospital. She was born Sept. 1, 1929, in Tallulah, La. A resident since the 1940s, she was a retired residential care housekeeper.

She is survived by three sisters, Lillie Jackson of North Las Vegas, Olivia Richardson of Los Angeles and Ethel Turner of Las Vegas; one brother, Elijah Bowman of Tallulah; one grandchild; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Catherine Patricia McNamara

Catherine Patricia McNamara, 69, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born March 27, 1934, in Rye, N.Y. A resident for six years, she was a retired registered nurse.

She is survived by her husband, John; and one sister, Ellen D'Angelo of Rye.

Anna Lee Miller

Anna Lee Miller, 65, of Henderson died Saturday in a local care center. She was born Feb. 21, 1938, in Kennett, Mo. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired owner-operator of a secretarial service.

She is survived by her husband, Earl D.; two daughters, Deanna J. Beard and Mary L. Zabo, both of Las Vegas; and four grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 9 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Louis C. Sartore

Louis C. Sartore, 83, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 13, 1920, in El Paso, Texas. A resident for 2 1/2 years, he was a retired railroad engineer, a World War II Marine Corps veteran and a member of the German Shepherd Rescue of Las Vegas.

He is survived by one daughter, Gay Sartore of Las Vegas; one son, Guy Sartore of Cathedral City, Calif.; one sister, Catherine Berscheid of Oregon; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Madeline A. Sobczak

Madeline A. Sobczak, 93, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born May 9, 1910, in Omaha, Neb. A resident for seven years, she was a former secretary for a manufacturing company.

She is survived by one daughter, Madeline A. Sobczak; two sons, Stanley Sobczak and John Sobczak Jr., both of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.

Visitation is scheduled 1-4 p.m. Wednesday with a 3 p.m. rosary in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Mass will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Thursday in Our Lady of Las Vegas Catholic Church, 3050 Alta Drive. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Alvin Leron Taylor Jr.

Alvin Leron Taylor Jr., 33, of Las Vegas died Thursday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 20, 1970, in Oklahoma. A resident for 30 years, he was an electrician and a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by two sons, Alvin L. Taylor III and David W. Taylor, his parents, Blater and Alvin Leron Taylor Sr., one brother, Robert Taylor, and one sister, Alicia Taylor-Evans, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation was scheduled until 5 p.m. today in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Garden Memorial. Graveside services will be 10:40 a.m. Friday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Antonio R. Taylor

Antonio R. Taylor, 22, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 25, 1981, in Missouri. A resident for 14 years, he was a student.

He is survived by his parents, Antoinette and Reggie Perry Sr., one brother, Reggie Perry Jr., and three sisters, Marico Taylor, Tiffany Suttles and Jasmine Perry, all of Las Vegas.

Evelyn F. Thompson

Evelyn F. Thompson, 85, of Pahrump died Saturday in Las Vegas. She was born April 23, 1918, in Sharpsburg, Iowa. A resident for 33 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Cloyd; two sons, Roger Alan Thompson of Las Vegas and Cloyd Eugene Thompson of Norwood, Colo.; five sisters, Edna Posten of Sharpsburg, Iowa, Bernita Ritnour of Omaha, Neb., Coryal Bollinger of Marysville, Mo., Hattie Clark of Villisca, Iowa, and Hazle Sexton of Lenox, Iowa.; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

Dan A. Tisdale

Dan A. Tisdale, 58, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born Feb. 22, 1945, in Los Angeles. A resident for 15 years, he was a retired district sales supervisor and a Vietnam War Navy veteran.

He is survived by two friends, Diane Storm and Maurice Storm, both of Henderson.

Visitation is scheduled 10 a.m.-12:30 p.m. Monday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd. Graveside services will follow 1:20 p.m. Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Cherie I. Wreglesworth

Cherie I. Wreglesworth, 71, of Las Vegas died Friday in Las Vegas. She was born Sept. 27, 1932, in Illinois. A resident for 11 years, she was a retired administrative assistant for a utility company.

She is survived by two sons, John and Joseph; two daughters, Cherie Lee Formella and Mary Wright; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
