The Fremont Street Experience LLC has appointed Mark Brandenburg, the general manager of the Golden Gate hotel-casino in downtown Las Vegas, to replace Mark Paris as the experience's interim president and chief executive.
Paris left the organization in September for Henderson land management and development company Basic Management Inc. and the Landwell Co., where he was chief executive from 1992 to 1994. The organization is still seeking a permanent replacement for Paris.
Golden Gate is one of 10 casino members of Fremont Street Experience, a company set up to manage events downtown and the Fremont Street Experience light show on Fremont Street.
