Marge Anderson

Marge Anderson, 80, of Las Vegas died Aug. 4 in a local care center. She was born Sept. 4, 1923, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 38 years, she was a homemaker and a member of the Retired Officers Wives Club.

She is survived by one son, Bob Anderson of Las Vegas; one daughter, Marsha Morgan of Henderson; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Sunday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. The family suggests donations to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 2785 E. Desert Inn Road, Las Vegas, NV 89121.

Robert Buford Sr.

Robert Buford Sr., 71, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born Oct. 4, 1932, in Arkansas. A resident for 42 years, he was an officer with R&B Security.

He is survived by his wife, Annie Mae; four sons, William Buford of California, and Lester Gamble, Robert Buford Jr. and James Allen Owens, all of Las Vegas; two daughters, Jewel Buford and Barbara Buford Owens, both of Las Vegas; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Thursday in New Birth Baptist Assembly, 2200 E. Cheyenne Ave. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday in New Birth Baptist Assembly. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane, is handling arrangements.

Arthur P. Charles

Arthur P. Charles, 56, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Aug. 10, 1947, in Brooklyn, N.Y. A resident for 46 years, he was a 21 dealer at the Rio and a Marine Corps veteran.

He is survived by his fiancee, Leslie Fishman and her children, Lindsay Santiago and Gregory DeSantigo, all of Las Vegas; two daughters, Tiffany Charles of Henderson and Kathy Fallon of Carrollton, Texas; one stepdaughter, Debbie Green of LaCross, Kan.; one brother, Douglas Charles of Huntington Beach, Calif.; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled 4-8 p.m. Thursday with a 7 p.m. rosary in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be private. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

The family suggests donations to the Nathan Adelson Hospice, 4141 S. Swenson St., Las Vegas, NV 89119, or the John Wayne Cancer Foundation.

Esther Grace DeGraff

Esther Grace DeGraff, 87, of Pahrump died Monday in Las Vegas. An executive secretary, she was born July 12, 1917, in Utah.

She is survived by one daughter, Janet Deaver of Pahrump; one son, John DeGraff of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Dennis H. Eisele

Dennis H. Eisele, 57, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 28, 1946, in Watertown, Wis. A resident for nine years, he was a restaurateur.

He is survived by his parents, Evelyn J. and Willard H. Eisele of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled noon until a 2 p.m. rosary Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens, Lake Havasu City, Ariz.

Sandra Lou Gibson

Sandra Lou Gibson, 59, of Las Vegas died July 7 in Las Vegas. A business owner, She was born May 9, 1945, in Decatur, Ill.

She is survived by one son, Dave Gibson.

Services will be 3 p.m. Saturday at Sutton Terrace, 3185 E. Flamingo Road.

William C. Gross

William C. Gross, 47, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born May 13, 1957, in Ohio. A resident for six years, he was a laborer and a veteran of the National Guard.

He is survived by his mother, Shirley Rink; two brothers, Michael D. Goss and Dan Rink; and one sister, Cindy L. Gross.

Lora Jane Keairnes

Lora Jane Keairnes, 45, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Oct. 14, 1958, in Omaha, Neb. A resident for 43 years, she was a teacher's assistant.

She is survived by one son, Michael Braccklein of Nellis Air Force Base; her parents, William and Delores Keairnes of Las Vegas; two brothers, William Keairnes of Las Vegas and James Keairnes of Los Umas; and one sister, Helene Pritchet of Fort Bridger, Wyo.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave.

William F. Labahn

William F. Labahn, 66, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 2, 1938, in Illinois. A resident for two years, he was an education sales representative.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Lewis; one son, Jason Labahn of Las Vegas; one daughter, Kate Labahn of New York; and one brother, Larry Labahn of Aurora, Ill.

Robert Timothy Langdon

Robert Timothy Langdon, 30, of North Las Vegas died Sunday. He was born July 28, 1974, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a clerk.

He is survived by his parents, Robert D. and Elizabeth Langdon of North Las Vegas; one sister, Rebecca Bowler of Manchester, N.H.; one brother, Michael D. Langdon of Las Vegas; and his grandparents, Donna York and Hugh John York Sr. of North Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled 5-8 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Additional visitation is scheduled one hour prior to a noon service Friday at the LDS Civic Center and Tonopah chapel. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery.

Charles L. Lett

Charles L. Lett, 78, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 15, 1925, in Barnesville, Ohio. A resident for nine years, he was a retired school principal and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Annette G. Spear-Lett; one son, Robert Lett of San Marino, Calif.; one daughter, Priscilla Lett of Altadena, Calif.; three stepdaughters, Suzanne Gladstone-Machado of Chino Hills, Calif., Jeanne Gladstone-Chapman of Laguna Niguel, Calif., and Joanne Gladstone-Bertsch of Lake Forest, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.

Jonathon J. Long

Jonathon J. Long, 22, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born April 29, 1982, in Denver. A resident for 12 years, he was a line cook.

He is survived by his wife, Kelli; two sons, Anton Long and Lajon Long, his mother, Norma J. Potter, and one sister, Jackie Kelley, all of Las Vegas; and one brother, Lee Long of Iowa.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Affordable Cremation and Burial Service, 2457 N. Decatur Blvd.

Robert Dale MacDonald

Robert Dale MacDonald, 57, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born March 31, 1947, in California. A resident for 30 years, he was a baker.

He is survived by his wife, Kollene Courtemanche; and one brother, Kenneth MacDonald.

Patrick Joseph Magee

Patrick Joseph Magee, 46, of Henderson died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 27, 1958, in Indianapolis. A resident for 43 years, he was a glazier and a 1976 Clark High School graduate.

He is survived by his significant other, Jennifer Lohmann, and one stepson, Evan Castillo, both of Henderson; one sister, Kathleen J. Bleyer of Peoria, Ariz.; and two brothers, Kevin Magee and Brian Magee, both of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 9 a.m. Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will be in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Vernon H. Mason Jr.

Vernon H. Mason Jr., 62, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 11, 1941, in Illinois. A resident for 40 years, he was a Navy veteran.

He is survived by two daughters, Deanna Michel of Sandy Valley and Christina Mason of Euless, Texas; two brothers, Ray Mason of Moberly, Mo., and Don Mason of Arizona; and three grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 11 a.m. Friday in the LDS chapel at 6601 W. Twain Ave. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Robert Moses

Robert Moses, 80, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 18, 1923, in Brooklyn, N.Y. He was a real estate broker, rancher, a World War II Army veteran and a member of the Rotary Club, .

He is survived by one son, Steven Moses of Las Vegas.

Maureen Schnitzer

Maureen Schnitzer, 73, of Las Vegas died Friday. She was born July 1, 1931, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She worked in the defense industry in California, co-owned a Ford dealership in California, was executive secretary to the owners of the Dunes hotel, was the assistant to the director of food and beverage at Caesars Palace and was project coordinator for the Clark County Health District, president of the Mesquite Club and a volunteer at Odyssey Hospice, American Heart Association, American Cancer Society, Las Vegas Jaycees, Nevada Women's History Project, Las Vegas Town Club and Nevada Historical Society.

She is survived by her husband, Harvey; two daughters, Romy Hoyer of Las Vegas and Harvie Ruth Schrieber of Fresno, Calif.; one stepdaughter, Viki Jan Marjie of Las Vegas; and one brother, Alexander Macdonald of Ottawa, Ontario.

A memorial service date is pending. Sunrise Cremation & Burial Society, 745 W. Sunset Road, No. 5, Henderson, is handling arrangements.

Roger Allan Taylor

Roger Allan Taylor, 61, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born April 23, 1943, in Oakland, Iowa. A resident for 36 years, he was an auto body repairman.

He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Sue; one daughter, Teresa Shaw of Henderson; two sons, Randall Taylor of St. George, Utah, and Kenneth Taylor of Henderson; his mother, Nadine M. Edie of Lebanon, Mo.; one sister, Glenda Schurr of Nokesville, Va.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 10 a.m. Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson.

Jack Williams

Jack Williams, 78, of Las Vegas died Aug. 4 in Las Vegas. He was born Nov. 23, 1925, in Hobart, Okla. A resident for 50 years, he was a carpenter at Nellis Air Force Base and a World War II Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; one son, Ronald Williams of Reno; one brother, Bill Williams of Texas; one sister, Edna McClung of California; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 1-5 p.m. Thursday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in Bunkers Chapel. Burial will follow in Paradise Memorial Gardens, 6200 S. Eastern Ave.
