Councilwomen given key posts

Boggs McDonald was appointed to the Community and Economic Development Steering Committee, and Moncrief was appointed to the Public Safety and Crime Prevention Steering Committee.
The Southern Nevada council members were appointed by National League of Cities President Charles Lyons, an Arlington, Mass., selectman, during his annual appointment process.
