Pearl M. Bair

Pearl M. Bair, 88, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. She was born May 7, 1916, in Chicago. A resident for 47 years, she was a retired saleswoman.

She is survived by one son, Gary Bair, and one sister, Gilda Simshauser, both of Las Vegas; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. Monday in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park.

John Joseph Barba

John Joseph Barba, 75, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born March 8, 1929, in Pittsburgh. A resident for 23 years, he owned an apartment supply and parts company.

He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Margaret J.; two daughters, Kathy and Tina, both of Las Vegas; eight siblings; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in International Church of Las Vegas, 8100 Westcliff Drive.

John Francis Campopiano

John Francis Campopiano, 59, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. he was born June 18, 1944, in California. A resident for 14 years, he was a contractor and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Carol; one son, John Campopiano of Washington; two daughters, Michelle Abrams of Texas and Tasha Garcia of California; two brothers, Bruce Campopiano and Pat Campopiano, and two sisters Joan Scambray and Paula Jesse, all of California; and five grandchildren.

Services were scheduled at 2 p.m. today in Garden Memorial Funeral Home, 3600 W. Vegas Drive.

Agnes M. Couch

Agnes M. Couch, 84, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. She was born March 19, 1920, in Smethport, Pa. A resident for 58 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by two sons, David Rowles of Henderson and Ronald Rowles of Las Vegas; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was scheduled from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with a 9 p.m. service today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St.

Gordon Lewis Cummings

Gordon Lewis Cummings, 63, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born March 12, 1941, in Wisconsin. A resident for 16 years, he was a retired maintenance worker.

He is survived by his wife, Beverly; two daughters, Kathy Whitfield of Las Vegas and Jeannie Krohn of Casper, Wyo.; two sons, Monty Hartgrave of Casper and Donald Hartgrave of Miles City, Mont.; four brothers, Bob Cummings of Marion, Ohio, Alvin Cummings of Denver and Curtis Cummings and Terrance Cummings, both of New Castle, Wyo.; three sisters, Katie Soper of New Castle and Donna Vigil and Bonita Millard, both of Palm Springs, Calif.; and nine grandchildren.

David Howard Esplin

David Howard Esplin, 73, of North Las Vegas died Thursday in North Las Vegas. He was born Feb. 1, 1931, in Kanab, Utah. A resident for 44 years, he was a Teamsters Union general foreman for the Nevada Test Site, and a member of the Teamsters Local 631.

He was proceeded in death his daughter Jillyn Esplin.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Lynn "Pinky"; one daughter, Rexine Esplin of Provo, Utah; one son, Clayton Howard Esplin of Kanab, Utah; two sisters, Farel Sorensen of Orderville, Utah, and Mary Lee Ramsay of Tropic, Utah; one brother, Garland Esplin of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Monday in the LDS Civic Center/Tonopah chapel. Burial will be in Kanab. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Dr. Gary Merrel Eversol

Dr. Gary Merrel Eversol, 46, of Henderson died Tuesday in a local hospital. He was born Aug. 25, 1957, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was a chiropractor, former Metro Police officer and was in the first graduating class of Chapparal High School.

He is survived by his wife, Kathryn "Katie"; three daughters, Mariah, Kacie and Kellie, and one son, Kyle, all of Henderson; his parents, Gene and Vanda Eversole; and two sisters, Kathy Jaramillo and Tracy Ruiz.

Visitation is scheduled from 8:30 a.m to 9:30 a.m., followed by services at 10 a.m. Saturday in the LDS chapel at 2701 E. Pebble Road. Burial will be in Milford, Utah. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Robert Fields Sr.

Robert Fields Sr., 82, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local care center. He was born Aug. 16, 1921, in Wisner, La. A resident for 52 years, he was a retired carpenter and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Rosa Lee; two sons, Robert Fields Jr. and Ralph W. Fields, and one daughter, Swayzine N. Fields, all of Las Vegas.

A rosary will be held at 6 tonight in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday in St. James the Apostle Catholic Church, 1920 Martin Luther King Blvd., followed by burial in Palm Memorial Park.

Harry Golden

Harry Golden, 79, died May 11 in Las Vegas. Born March 9, 1925, in Philadelphia, he was vice president of the Professional Bowlers Association.

Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday in Davis Funeral Home, 2127 W. Charleston Blvd. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Davis Funeral Home, followed by burial in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

William Strohber Hagar

William Strohber Hagar, 83, of Las Vegas died Thursday in a local hospital. He was born June 17, 1920, in Stillwater, Okla. A longtime resident, he was an attorney and a retired Air Force major.

He is survived by four sons, Michael Hagar, Kevin Hagar, Steven Hagar and Paul Hagar; two daughters, Karen E. Kigpen and Marsha A. Gulick; and 16 grandchildren.

Graveside services will be noon Monday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., is handling arrangements.

Clyde Earl Hancock

Clyde Earl Hancock, 94, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in a local hospital. He was born June 22, 1909, in Gardena, Wash. A resident for eight years, he was a retired studio grip in the motion picture industry and a World War II Army veteran.

He is survived by one son, John Patrick Hancock of Las Vegas; one daughter, Susanne Elizabeth Bacta of Lovelock; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Richard Warren Hill

Richard Warren Hill, 2 months, of Las Vegas died Saturday in Las Vegas. He was born March 16, 2004.

He is survived by his father, Richard A. Hill, his mother, Victoria S. Anderson, and two sisters, Ragen Marie Anderson and Sierra Rose Hill, all of Las Vegas; his grandparents, Charles and Liz Hill, and Nancy Eisenberg, all of Van Nuys, Calif., Gary and Patti Anderson of Reseda, Calif., and Jennifer Anderson of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; and his great-grandparents, Charles and Donna Hill of Paso Robles, Calif., Betty Anderson of Tujunga, Calif., and Murray and Judy Eisenberg of Calabasas, Calif.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Saturday at the home of Jeff and Sheri Ladin, 935 Clipper Drive, Henderson. Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., handled arrangements.

Phillip W. Jones

Phillip W. Jones, 40, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born July 18, 1963, in Kansas. A resident for 11 years, he was a radar technician for the government and an Air Force veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Ki Nam; two daughters, Katherine M. Jones and Barbara A. Jones; and two sons, Timothy Jones and Charlie Jones. Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to 11 a.m. services Tuesday in Full Gospel Church, 1580 Bledsoe Lane, followed by burial in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City. Desert Memorial Cremation and Burial Society, 1111 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Leona Lafemina

Leona Lafemina, 81, of Henderson died Wednesday in a local care center. She was born June 10, 1922, in Massachusetts. A resident for 16 years, she was a retired athletic teacher.

She is survived by her companion, Pete Martinez of Henderson; one son, Jerry St. Germain of New Mexico; two daughters, Jeanne Hollister and Claudette Polomski, both of Connecticut; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Lucia A. 'Lu' McCullough

Lucia A. "Lu" McCullough, 79, of Las Vegas died Monday in a local hospice. She was born May 10, 1925, in Maine. A resident for 30 years, she was a retired manager for an investment company.

She is survived by her husband, William D.; and one grandchild.

Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m Monday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St., is handling arrangements.

Nelson Bradford Outler

Nelson Bradford Outler, 61, of Las Vegas, died Tuesday. He was born April 20, 1943, in Philadelphia. A longtime resident, he was a salesman.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, and one daughter, Sherri Outler of Marlton, N.J.

Burial will be in New Jersey. Hites Funeral Home is handling arrangements.

Terry Deon Reece

Terry Deon Reece, 32, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospital. He was born May 26, 1971, in Las Vegas. A lifelong resident, he was disabled.

He is survived by his wife, Antoinette; five daughters, Aziah Reece, Phonaijha Reece, Kayla Reece, Tajonae Berry and Dejonette Berry, one son, Dijon Berry, his mother, Terry Dale Reece, his father, Samuel Ross, one brother, Gary Reece, three sisters, Tekaune Reece, Wytosha Ross and Janae Harris, and his grandmother, Almedia Reece, all of Las Vegas.

Visitation is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, 310 Foremaster Lane. Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday in Thomas and Jones Funeral Home, followed by a private burial.

William Dorsey 'W.D.' Shouse

William Dorsey "W.D." Shouse, 43, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in Las Vegas. He was born Sept. 23, 1960, in San Diego. A resident for 23 years, he was an entertainer, disc jockey and a member of the Triangle Club.

He is survived by two sons, Marc Shouse and Danny Evans Jr., one daughter, Crystal Evans, his father, William Shouse, two sisters, Teresa Shouse and Becki Coleman; and five brothers, Robert Shouse, Donnie Stanton, Barry Stanton, Russell Stanton and Michael Shouse, all of Las Vegas.

A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday at the Triangle Club, 4800 Nellis Blvd. Nevada Funeral Service, 2983 Fremont St., is handling arrangements.
