Francisco F. Alvarez

Francisco F. Alvarez, 41, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. He was born Oct. 4, 1963, in Guadalajara, Mexico. A resident for 23 years, he was a hotel food server.

He is survived by his wife, Angelica; one daughter, Mariela Alvarez, and three sons, Francisco Alvarez Jr., Genaro Alvarez and Eric Alvarez, all of Henderson; his parents, Genaro and Natividad Alvarez of Guadalajara; three brothers, Mario Alvarez, Juan Alvarez and Octavio Alvarez, all of Las Vegas; six sisters, Guadalupe Munoz, Maricela Mares and Ernestina Murillo, all of Las Vegas, and Guillermina Alvarez, Lorena Alvarez and Natividad Alvarez, all of Guadalajara.

Visitation was scheduled at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., prior to 3 p.m. services today in Holy Family Catholic Church, 4490 Mountain Vista St. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Quentin Lee Dilworth

Quentin Lee Dilworth, 85, of Las Vegas died Monday in Las Vegas. He was born Jan. 14, 1920, in Carey, Idaho. A resident for 10 years, he was an apartment manager, a World War II and Korean War veteran, a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Lions.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Peggy; two daughters, Barbara Adams of Las Vegas and Becky Williams of Monroe, Utah; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Friday at the LDS Red Coach Chapel. Burial will follow in Eden Vale Memorial Park.

Burt R. Eclavea

Burt R. Eclavea, 47, of North Las Vegas died Friday in a local hospital. He was born Dec. 7, 1957, in Manila, Philippines. A resident for 10 years, he was an Air Force master sergeant.

He is survived by his wife, Ana Marie; one daughter, Aishly Nova Eclavea, and one son, Josh Von Eclavea, both of North Las Vegas; his mother, Maria Eclavea of Martinez, Ga.; two brothers, Albert Eclavea of Harker Heights, Texas, and Claro Eclavea of Martinez, Ga.; and two sisters, Divina Bundick of Blythewood, S.C., and Evelyn Harris of Milledgeville, Ga.

Visitation will continue until 9 p.m. today in Palm Mortuary, 1325 N. Main St. Services will be 9 a.m. Thursday in Nellis Air Force Base Chapel. Graveside services will follow at noon Thursday in Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Boulder City.

Raymond E. Emery

Raymond E. Emery, 79, of Las Vegas died Tuesday in a local hospice. He was born Sept. 13, 1925, in Oklahoma City. A resident for 18 years, he was a clockmaker and a World War II Army Air Corps veteran.

He is survived by his wife, Lorraine; one daughter, Ronada Emery Federspiel of Tallahassee, Fla.; one stepdaughter, Debra Hager, and one stepson, Ronald Hager, both of San Diego, and one sister, Collene Rhodes of Martinez, Calif.

Palm Mortuary, 7400 W. Cheyenne Ave., is handling private arrangements.

Alfred Fernandez

Alfred Fernandez, 79, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local hospital. He was born Jan. 1, 1926, in Tampa, Fla. A resident for 21 years, he was a retired salesman of wholesale and retail souvenirs.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joanne; three daughters, Emerald, Cookie and Terry; 10 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled one hour prior to an 11 a.m. service Saturday in Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd.

Carl Forssell

Carl Forssell, 71, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local hospice. He was born April 19, 1934, in Chicago. A resident for 23 years, he was a retired printer and an Army veteran.

He is survived by one daughter, Kristy Bagwell of Lawrenceville, Ga.; one sister, Darlene Klitsza, and his companion, Lilliam Rideout, both of Las Vegas; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave.

Geraldine Gardner

Geraldine Gardner, 89, of Henderson died Saturday in Henderson. She was born Feb. 15, 1916, in Okolona, Ark. A resident for 55 years, she was employed in the personnel department at Stauffer Chemical Co., then retired as the personnel director from Kerr McGee Chemical Co., was a World War II Women's Army Corps veteran and a member of Henderson Bridge Club and member and president of the Black Mountain Ladies Association.

She is survived by one son, Gerald Latz of Henderson.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Sept. 14 in Palm Mortuary, 800 S. Boulder Highway, Henderson. Burial will be in Arkansas.

Penny France Guercio

Penny France Guercio, 61, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 27, 1943, in London. A resident for 40 years, she was an entertainment producer.

She is survived by her husband, Joe; two daughters, Rebecca Allen of Reno and Melanie Alley of Las Vegas; one brother, Laurence Dean of England; and two granddaughters.

A memorial service will be noon Friday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park. Palm Mortuary, 1600 S. Jones Blvd., is handling arrangements.

Cory Daniel Gustafson

Cory Daniel Gustafson, 14, of Las Vegas died Sunday. He was born March 9, 1991, in El Paso, Texas. He was a resident for three years.

He is survived by his mother, Karen Gustafson of Las Vegas; his uncle, David Gustafson of St. Charles, Ill.; and his aunt, Tina Gustafson of Lucas, Ky.

A memorial service will be 4 p.m. Thursday in the LDS Winterwood Ward. Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North, is handling arrangements.

Martine Horn

Martine Horn, 74, of Las Vegas died Sunday in a local care center. She was born Sept. 6, 1930, in Owensboro, Ky. A resident for 23 years, she was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Anna Price.

She is survived by her husband, Robert; two sisters, Dorothy Gonzales of Wildwood, Fla., and Louise Crews of Miramar, Fla.; one brother, Jerry Manaway of Owensboro, Ky.; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled noon-2 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Graveside services will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.

Constance V. Maxwell

Constance V. Maxwell, 96, of Las Vegas died Sunday in Las Vegas. She was born May 3, 1909, in Aurora, Ill. A resident for 53 years, she was a self-employed artist.

She is survived by one niece, Jackie Lindsey of Las Vegas.

Family will be receiving guests one hour prior to a 1 p.m. service Friday in Bunkers Mortuary, 925 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, 7251 W. Lone Mountain Road.

Mary G. Riggio-Santino

Mary G. Riggio-Santino, 93, of Las Vegas died Saturday in a local health care center. She was born March 9, 1912, in Pueblo, Colo. A resident for 17 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one son, Eugene 'Geno' Riggio of Las Vegas; two sisters, Anabelle Saindon of Palm Desert, Calif., and Katie Russo of Menifee, Calif.; two brothers, Frank LaBella of California and Paul LaBella of Boise, Idaho; and three grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 5-7 p.m. Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Services will be 10 a.m. Friday in St. Viator Catholic Church, 2461 E. Flamingo Road. Graveside services will be in California.

The family suggests donations to St. Jude Research Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Ralland Eugene Sutphin

Ralland Eugene Sutphin, 60, of Henderson died Sunday in Las Vegas. He was born March 7, 1945, in New York City. A resident for 15 years, he was a casino teller and a Navy veteran.

He is survived by one sister, Michele H. Pariseau of Newport, R.I.

Nettie A. Wiacek

Nettie A. Wiacek, 92, of Las Vegas died Friday in a local health care center. She was born May 30, 1913, in Kansas City, Kan. A resident for 26 years, she was a homemaker.

She is survived by one daughter, Marilyn Wiacek of Las Vegas; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation is scheduled 4 p.m. until a 6 p.m. service Thursday in Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave. Burial will follow in Palm Valley View Memorial Park.
