Presidential hopeful John McCain really cares about Nevada. Or so GOP Chairwoman Sue Lowden says in a missive this week to state Republicans: “Senator McCain promised to be back to Nevada soon as he knows this is a critical state to win in the general election and that the Democrats have made some significant gains in voter registration. Now, we have some catching up to do ... but, we have the better candidate with the right ideas to lead us the next four years. We are registering voters every day ... to get them involved in Republican politics at the local, state and federal level.” Registering voters every day and falling further behind! Good strategy there. Can’t wait to see when McCain returns again, too. Anyone want to bet the under?
