Timothy Pratt’s Sunday story, “Vegas Exodus: How a slump in housing construction has cost immigrant workers their jobs and sent them home,” missed all the good things that will happen.
Emergency room waits will be much shorter and University Medical Center might actually turn a profit. Hit-and-run accidents will sharply decline, and traffic overall will be much better.
Also, students will get a much better education because no resources will be drained teaching English as a second language.
Finally, if the economy stays bad long enough, the wall will be finished with the illegals on the right side of it!
