Poor hospital ratings here are no surprise

Regarding the Las Vegas Sun’s Tuesday story “Patients give higher marks to nonprofits”:

I am not surprised that the averages for all aspects of hospitalization in the Las Vegas area rank lower (such as the percentage of patients who reported they “always” received help as soon as they wanted it and the percentage of patients who reported that staff “always” explained medicines before administering them) than the national averages for the same services around the country.

Is there any question why most people who can afford it go elsewhere for medical treatment?
