Oil dependency helps anti-American forces

We must become independent of Middle Eastern oil. Our “eternal friends” (George W. Bush’s quote), the Saudis, are using our money to fund and maintain madrasas throughout Pakistan and other Muslim countries that support al-Qaida and the Taliban.

Five hundred U.S. soldiers have been killed in Afghanistan since 2001 fighting this unholy terror. I do not support more drilling here for oil, but we must use our technology to find other sources of energy to combat these so-called “friends” who behind our backs are actually supporting terrorism.
