Old Man Syndrome

Despite what the band’s name might suggest, this four-song EP actually sounds kinda fresh. Jeff Samuelson’s vocals are somewhat indistinctive, sure, but OMS’ songs are better-constructed and catchier—not to mention more fun—than Vegas’ typical hard-rock fare, with the group’s tight efficiency helping it escape the world of radio-aimed faux-aggro.
