Marjorie Breshears
Marjorie J. Breshears, 86, of Boulder City died Aug. 15.
The 15-year resident was born May 13, 1922, in Joplin, Mo.
She was a homemaker.
Breshears is survived by four grandchildren.
Services were private.

Russell Erickson
Russell Dean Erickson died Aug. 7.
He was a member of the Swedish Club, the Elks Club and a WWII Navy Veteran.
Erickson is survived by his sons Mark, and wife Sandi, and Matt, and wife Debbie; grandchildren, Andrea, Geoff and Kyle; and his closest friend and companion Kay Tart.
Services were held Aug. 26 at Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Patricia Gessner
Patricia L. Gessner, 72, of Fond du Lac, Wis., died Aug. 12.
Gessner was born Aug. 27, 1935, in Jefferson City, Mo.
She lived in Boulder City for 14 years and was a 1953 graduate of Boulder City High School. She was a former elementary school teacher in San Diego and later worked at Mutual Savings Bank in Fond du Lac for more than 20 years.
Gessner is survived by her husband John Gessner of Fond du Lac; daughter Ann Vargas and husband Brad of Cumming, Ga.; son James Gessner and wife Michelle of Phoenix; grandchildren Kyle and Jacob Vargas of Cumming, Ga.; sister Susan Cliburn and husband James of Page, Ariz.; brother Richard Dossett and wife Linda of Eufaula, Okla.; and sister-in-law Barbara Gessner of Madison, Wis.
Services were held Aug. 16. Interment was at Estabrooks Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Lutheran Church or Gideons International Memorial Bible Plan.
Arrangements were handled by Mach Funeral Chapel and Crematory.
Alice Hagan
Alice C. Hagan, 89, of Boulder City died Aug. 15.
The forty-nine-year resident was born July 31, 1919, in Mission Valley, Texas.
She was a retired housekeeper.
Hagan is survived by her daughters Diana Holloway, and husband Bruce, of Las Vegas, and Kay Boyer, and husband John, of Mesa, Ariz.; grandsons Steve Holloway, and wife April, of Las Vegas, and Brian Boyer, of Tempe, Ariz.; granddaughter Kristen Boyer of Mesa, Ariz.; and great-granddaughter Jennifer Lambert of Las Vegas.
Visitation will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. Aug. 21 at Palm Mortuary-Henderson and 9 a.m. Aug. 22 at Christ Lutheran Church, 1401 Fifth St.
Graveside Service will follow at Southern Nevada Beterans Memorial Cemetary.
Arrangements by Palm Mortuary-Henderson.
Dorothy Voss
Dorothy Louise Voss, 88, of Grass Valley, Calif., died Aug. 5.
She was born Aug. 26, 1919, in Los Angeles. She resided in Boulder City for 22 years before moving to Reno and later to Grass Valley.
Voss was a counselor’s secretary at a high school for thirteen years.
She is survived by her daughter Penny Voss Jenkins; son James R. Voss; four grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert William Voss.
No services were held.

John Zerfoss
John Zerfoss, 58, of Boulder City died July 31.
The long-time resident was born March 23, 1950, in Morenci, Ariz. He was a carpenter.
Zerfoss is survived by his wife Yuhong Zheng of Fairfax, Va.; daughter Leah Zerfoss of Las Vegas; sons Jeremy Zerfoss of Las Vegas and Jessie Zerfoss of Superior, Colo.; mother Aileen Zerfoss of Henderson; and sisters Georgann Immordino and Sarah Zerfoss, both of Henderson.
Arrangments were handled by Palm Mortuary-Henderson.
