It boggles the mind! Some Democrats who want to “punish” their own party are threatening to vote Republican, and are even registering voters for the opposition.
Where is the logic, and whom do they think they’re hurting? It’s as if they’re saying, “OK, my financial situation may be suffering, the economy is tanked and worsening, hundreds of millions of dollars are being spent daily for a war in Iraq that John McCain promises to continue, he has insinuated he isn’t against instituting the draft, and the middle class has all but disappeared (thanks to eight years of a Republican administration). But I like it just the way it is and I wouldn’t change a thing.”
I am sick and tired of all of the cynicism, skepticism, underlying racism and bigotry surrounding this election.
McCain is a wolf in sheep’s clothing and a George Bush clone who uses his POW experience of 40 years ago as an excuse and explanation for everything. However valiant his service was to this country, it still does not qualify him to be president. And, he has even alienated veterans by voting time and time again against measures that would have greatly benefited them. How ironic!
America needs to wake up. Nothing happens before its time, and it is time for something different at Pennsylvania Avenue. The same ol’, same ol’ just won’t work anymore. Our children and grandchildren didn’t ask for any of this and they deserve better — much better!
