Wranglers freeze Fresno with scoring flurry

The Las Vegas Wranglers snapped a three-game skid in impressive fashion Tuesday night by flattening the Fresno Falcons 7-0 in front of 2,154 fans at Selland Arena.

Right winger Matt Beaudoin tied a team record with five points off of a hat trick and two assists.

Center Chris Ferraro netted a pair of goals in the first period to spark the Wranglers offensive outburst.

The Wranglers blasted their lead wide open with four more goals in the second period. Beaudoin notched two of his three while Tyler Mosienko and Justin Taylor also added goals.

Beaudoin completed his hat trick less than three minutes into the third period to seal the Wranglers' 7-0 victory.

Las Vegas goalie Kevin Lalande stopped all 32 shots he faced.

The Wranglers will stay in Fresno for another duel with the Falcons Wednesday night at 7:05 p.m.
