flashpoint:

Interesting people at funerals…

You meet some of the most interesting people at funerals. Imagine how ex-Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, two of the country’s most prominent Mormons, felt after running into each other at Gordon Hinckley’s services in Salt Lake City. USA Today’s Andrea Stone got the scoop and the first part of it appears to indicate that Reid is the more prominent Mormon: Stone says Reid sat one row in front of Romney. But even though Reid has made some derisive comments about the GOP presidential hopeful, Romney told Stone that Reid “seems like a nice fellow.” I wonder, should Romney become president and have to deal with Reid as majority leader, whether he might, ahem, change his position on that one.
