Isn’t it wonderful! Exxon Mobil Corp. recently announced that its profit for the past quarter was $11.7 billion.
Also last week, the oil companies announced that, because of the lack of a certain additive needed for “summer fuels,” we can expect gas prices to reach $3.50 a gallon within a few months.
Add this to the already huge subsidies given to the oil companies by the government and its leaders President Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney and Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice (who put the oil companies before the needs of the people of this country). Isn’t it time for Americans to realize that the president and his cronies don’t give a hoot about the citizens of the United States but are concerned only with padding their already overstuffed pockets?
