I read with great amusement a Feb. 4 letter to the editor from Art Rader in which he claimed the reason there are no liberal think tanks is that “liberal” and “think tank” are contradictory terms.
Speaking of contradictory terms, how about these? “Conservative” and “fiscally responsible.” President Bush approved the budget deficit. And this is conservatism? Please.
By the way, Republicans don’t tax, but they sure do spend. Liberals do tax, but at least they spend on the American people.
