With all the talk about Bill Clinton and Michelle Obama, who would have guessed that Janet Huckabee would make news? And on the Las Vegas Strip! In case you missed it, she is the wife of Mike Huckabee, the Baptist preacher who apparently needs to be struck by lightning before he gets out of the race he can’t win. Why was Janet Huckabee in Vegas? Fox News had the best description: “The latest political spouse to attract unexpected attention is Janet Huckabee, who decided to stay in Las Vegas last weekend at the notably unwholesome Hooters Hotel Casino rather than travel with her husband and Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee to the Cayman Islands.” The minister’s wife at Hooters. That is priceless.
