Someone doing favors for lobbyists being lost

It’s like a story about someone doing favors for lobbyists being lost because of a sex angle. In this case, it’s an environmental story lost because of a Hitler metaphor. As The Nation pointed out about Sen. Harry Reid, “Oy, this is frustrating.” Then this: “Last week, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid gave an extraordinary speech ... Unfortunately, just before the speech he gave an interview to the Las Vegas Sun in which he accused the coal industry of using ‘the old Hitler lie: When you say things long enough people start believing them.’” And the result: “Oops! A Hitler comparison. There’s the headline. There’s the story. Everything else gets washed away.” Harry Reid with loose lips? Shocking!
