The e-mails are still pouring in. Disgruntled Democrat-ic Party conventiongoers continue to send me missives about the horror show at Bally’s last weekend. Almost all of them are directing their venom toward party boss John Hunt and convention Chairman Bill Stanley, wondering if they will be involved in the redo in a month or so if it even happens or even matters. My guess is one or both may be, but Hunt can’t keep his job for very long. But this kind of sentiment provided succinctly by one upset delegate should really worry Democrats: “This campaign has gotten me fired up, but last Saturday certainly killed my enthusiasm.” If that is the ultimate result or at least the ultimate result for too many the Democrats are in trouble.
