Reagan’s Berlin Wall line goes for Bush, too

“Mr. Gorbachev, tear down this wall.” These words spoken by President Reagan in 1989 to the Russian premier regarding the Berlin Wall have turned out to be ironic and prophetic.

Nearly two decades later, there is another wall that needs to be torn down, and it is growing each day in our own back yard. It is the wall of secrecy, surveillance and stealth. So let it be said loud and clear: “Mr. Bush, tear down this wall.”
