Be patient with next administration

The (eight-year)-long national nightmare, to paraphrase, is coming to its end and its creators, the Bush administration and Republican members of Congress, will shortly be thrown onto the trash heap of history. While one hopes for a quick recovery, the tremendous, ruinous damage we’ve suffered means that any new administration will need many years to repair the country.
