Cover your mouth, and put clips on your nose, because now that Sen. Barack Obama will be the Democratic presidential candidate, the Republican slime factory will get up to full production.
They’ll rain all manner of stinky poo on Michelle and Barack Obama, none of it concerning issues of presidential importance, because the Republicans have found there are many people who fall for their nonsense.
As an example, we don’t choose our parents, or the name they give us, yet many Republicans claim that because his parents named him Barack Hussein Obama, he is a Muslim, while other Republicans denounce Michelle and Barack for attending Trinity United Church of Christ for 20 years while the Rev. Jeremiah Wright Jr. was pastor. They can’t have it both ways, but that doesn’t concern them.
They feel if they can put enough doubt in people’s minds about his religion, their candidate will stand a chance. So my suggestion to voters is to study the ideas put forth by the candidates, and ignore all the slime that you will hear.
This is a very important election, and the winner should be chosen on his views, not some ridiculous name-calling.
