Graffiti is costly to neighborhood, too

I grimaced, then read with great interest Jeff German’s article in Wednesday’s Las Vegas Sun, headlined “Courthouse taggers spark outrage, hunt,” about graffiti at the Justice Center.

I hope they capture the criminal(s) who did it.

I hope they will then search for the taggers who paint our neighborhood (Sahara Sunrise) each week. It costs homeowners in our neighborhood thousands of dollars each year to remove this graffiti and yet the vandals go unapprehended and unpunished.

We are outraged each week when we awake to see our walls, utility poles — and sometimes even vehicles — covered in profanity and gang signs.

Can we please get some help after the Justice Center is repaired?
