A letter by Ed Hayes in Wednesday’s Las Vegas Sun deals with drilling for oil domestically. The writer claims that the pump price for gasoline would not be lower than if we buy oil from the world market, meaning the Middle East, etc.
If we can produce our own oil, we are in better control of the pricing. Most important, however, the money would stay in our country.
Doesn’t anyone realize that our dollar is losing its value, that we are helping foreign countries get richer while we are rapidly bleeding to death?
