You would have to be living under a fairly huge rock to not have realized that the price of oil and our awful dependence on it have had a profoundly negative effect on our economy and our way of life.
Feel powerless? Nonsense! We are the consumers and hold a lot of power to fight off Big Oil — spending power.
Some suggestions: Downsize. Become more efficient by taking the bus, carpooling or exchanging your gas guzzler for a smaller car, a motorcycle or even a bicycle.
Not only will you be helping your wallet, but also you will be cutting emissions and helping Mother Earth. Going green will save you money.
