Letter to the Editor:

GOP’s veep choice outclasses Obama

Regarding the Las Vegas Sun’s Saturday editorial “Sarah who?”:

I had no trouble finding, on the front page of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the words “governor,” “chairwoman” and “mayor” related to Sarah Palin.

I’ve been reading the Sun all along and have yet to see any of those words, or words like them, related to Barack Obama. As far as I can tell, from reading your newspaper, he has never led so much as a Cub Scout pack.

Obama was in the Illinois Senate, but I’m not aware that he chaired any committees. All I know about that is he voted “present” 130 times.

He has been in the U.S. Senate for about three years but hasn’t chaired any committees. He’s been too busy running for president and, anyway, doesn’t have enough seniority.

Seems to me the Republican candidate for vice president has more experience than the Democratic candidate for president.
