Investigators this morning are working to identify a man shot in the chest Monday in the 3900 block of James Paul Avenue.
The man died after someone walked up to the garage where he was sitting and shot into the structure several times, hitting the victim, police said. The shooting occurred at about 1:30 a.m. Monday, police said.
The coroner's office will determine the cause of death.
Witnesses in the area reported seeing a man dressed in dark clothing fleeing the scene, police said.
