Henderson deaths

Pam Chambers

Pam D. Chambers, 43, of Henderson, died Aug. 27.

The 13-year resident was born June 30, 1965, in Minot, N.D. She was a teacher

Chambers is survived by her parents, Dan and Diane Chambers of Henderson.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sept 6 at Green Valley Presbyterian Church, 1798 Wigwam Parkway.

The family requests that donations be made to the Clark County Education Association scholarship program in Pam's name, 733-3063 or 4230 McLeod Drive, Las Vegas, NV 89121.

Arrangements were handled by Palm Mortuary-Henderson.

Trisa Cornelison

Trisa Cornelison, 43, of Twin Falls, died Aug. 29 from injuries received in an automobile accident near Jackpot, Nev.

She was born Oct. 6, 1964, in Boulder City. She was raised and educated in Henderson, where she graduated high school in 1982.

She married Mark Cornelison in Las Vegas in 1985, and they were later divorced. Trisa moved to Twin Falls in 1988, where she worked for the Twin Falls School District. She also worked for National Car Rental at the Twin Falls airport, the Twin Falls UPS Store, and at the time of her death was employed as a receptionist/assistant in a doctor's office.

Trisa enjoyed the outdoors, camping, fishing, photography, going dancing and entertaining friends.

She is survived by two sons, Christopher Cornelison and his wife, Tiffany, and Kyle Cornelison, both of Twin Falls; her mother: Gerry Horne of Jerome, Idaho; stepfather John Copenhaver of Jerome; her father, Edward Gray, of Dolan Springs, Ariz.; sisters: Brenda Brown and her husband, Mike, of Jackpot, Nev., and Trina Robinson and her husband, Paul, of Henderson; her fiancé, Robbie Carlton of Twin Falls, and other extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her son Cody and brother Richard Gray.

Memorial services for Trisa were conducted 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, at White Mortuary, "Chapel by the Park" in Twin Falls.

The family suggests memorials to the Trisa Cornelison Memorial Fund, care of any First Federal Savings Bank.

White Mortuary of Twin Falls handled the arrangements.

Gary Davis

Gary L. Davis, 59, of Henderson, died Aug. 28.

The 35-year resident was born Aug. 14, 1949, in Lamar, Colo. He was a retired public works coordinator and Marine Corps veteran who served served during the Vietnam War.

He is survived by his wife, Doreen C. Davis of Henderson; daughters Deanna Lund of Carlsbad, N.M., and Rachel Davis of Henderson; son, Gary L. Davis Jr. of Salem, Ore.; stepson, Samuel Lozano of Henderson; and siblings Butch and Mary Williams of Bosque Farms, N.M.

Services were private.

Arrangements were handled by Palm Mortuary-Henderson.

Betty Lautenshlager

Betty J. Lautenshlager, 84, of Henderson, died Aug. 27.

The 17-year resident was born April 19, 1924, in Page County, Iowa. She was a homemaker.

Lautenshlager is survived by her husband, Paul Lautenshlager of Henderson; daughter, Cheryl Davis of Cerritos, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Arrangements were handled by Palm Mortuary-Henderson.

Marie Stevens

Marie E. Stevens, 86, of Henderson, died Aug. 27.

The 25-year resident was born Feb. 17, 1922, in Hammond, Ind. She was a homemaker.

Stevens is survived by her husband of 52 years, Harold Stevens; son, John, and wife, Deirdre, of Charlottesville, Va.; grandsons John Jr. of Portage, Ind., and Steve and wife, Rene, of San Diego; granddaughters Diane and husband, Mark, of Sykesville, Md., and Natalie and husband, Robert, of Chesapeake, Va.; two great-grandsons; four great-granddaughters; and nephew, James Sargent Jr. of Billerica, Mass.

Services were held Aug. 30 at Palm Memorial Chapel.

Arrangements were handled by Palm Mortuary-Eastern.
