Henderson Yankees wrap up summer undefeated

The National Youth Sports Henderson Yankees completed the summer baseball season undefeated in the league's 7-to-9 year-old division.

Enrique Ortega led the team with a .643 batting average, while Stavros Diamandis batted .571 and Gianni Corsentino hit .556 and led the team in home runs. Gianni pitched and did not allow an earned run throughout the season.

Anthony Pannullo batted a solid .500, Diego Ybarra hit .400 and Diego Mencos batted .375 and led the team in walks. Also, Demtrius Bosco hit .357 and Charles Pollnow batted .333.

Triston Rambo, Jason Guzman, and Anthony Carro were also solid contributors.

The Yankees were managed by Tony Lato along with assistants Gary Bosco and John Diamandis.
