The Nevada Department of Wildlife will hold a free fishing clinic and fishing derby Sept. 13 for children 12 years and younger at Lake Lindsay in Desert Shores. The event is limited to children who live in Desert Shores.
Department representatives will give instruction on how to fish as well as the different types of fish in Lake Mead.
The instruction period will be followed by a fishing derby, where the children are allowed to fish in the lake.
