A body found in a trash can in a parking lot at the northwest corner of Carson Avenue and South Eighth Street is a woman in her late 20s or early 30s, Metro Police said today.
A homeless man discovered the body in a trash can Wednesday evening covered in debris, police said. Homicide detectives are investigating.
The cause of the woman's death hasn't been determined, police said.
The Clark County coroner's office is withholding her identity until family can be notified.
