Crews prepare to remove the contents of a tanker-truck that rolled on Lake Mead Boulevard at Losee Road Monday morning.

A tanker that rolled on Lake Mead Boulevard at Losee Road today at about 6:30 a.m., still has traffic diverted from the area, said Capt. Cedric Williams, a North Las Vegas Fire Department spokesman.

The tanker contains between 4,500 and 6,500 gallons of ethylene glycol, which is used as antifreeze. The tank will be drained before the rig is put upright, Williams said. Some diesel fuel from the tanker's fuel tank spilled and must be cleaned up, he said.

Traffic is being diverted on Lake Mead from Englestad Street to Interstate 15 and from Losee at Carey Avenue, Williams said.
