The Nevada National Guard will welcome home its 72nd Military Police Company from Iraq on Thursday afternoon.
An estimated 120 soldiers will be returning with the unit.
The 72nd MP unit has been working in southeast Iraq at an internment facility with more than 19,000 detainees since deployment.
A ceremony at the Henderson Armory isn't open to the public because of space limitations.
