Man robs two northeast bars at gunpoint

Police are looking for a man who robbed two northeast Las Vegas bars at gunpoint in the span of a week.

In both incidents, one on Sept. 16 and the second on Monday, a man entered the bar between 10 p.m. and 11 p.m., Metro Police said. Each time he demanded money from the bartenders and left on foot.

In both cases, the man displayed a black semi-automatic handgun to the bartenders and patrons inside the bar, police said.

The man is described as 5-foot-10 and 210 to 220 pounds, police said.

Metro Police detectives in the robbery section are asking for the public's help in identifying the man. Anyone with information is urged to call 828-3591, or to remain anonymous call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555. A reward may be available for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the man involved in the robberies.
