Metro Police today are asking for the public's help in finding two men who robbed a convenience store near Nellis Boulevard and Gowan Road earlier this month. The robbery occurred at about 1 a.m. on Sept. 7.
One man was dropped off by the other man, who was driving a 1990 to 1995 white BMW, possibly 700 or 500 series, police said.
One of the men then put a black plastic bag over his head, tearing an eye hole into the bag as he rounded a corner and entered the store, police said. He then walked to the counter and demanded money while holding his left hand under his T-shirt, implying he had a gun, police said.
After grabbing the money, the man was seen running west through a desert area and jumping a wall into a mobile home park, police said.
The first man is described as 20 to 25 years old, 5-foot-10 to 6-foot-2 and weighing 175 pounds with black hair, brown eyes, wearing a black T-shirt with a design on the back, blue jeans and black shoes.
The second man is described as 5-foot-10 to 6-foot-2, weighing 180 to 200 pounds with black hair, a dark T-shirt, dark shorts and driving the white BMW.
Anyone with information is urged to call Metro's robbery section at 828-3591 or to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
