I watched our fearless lame duck tell us how we will have to work through this mess that Wall Street greed caused.
But never once did he mention the $10 billion that is being bled from this country and spent in Iraq every month. In 10 months, that’s $100 billion. All for a war that never should have happened.
Now, even though the Iraqis have a huge surplus of money, the bleeding doesn’t stop. I pity the next five presidents — they will not be able to accomplish anything because of the debt this administration is leaving behind.
I don’t care whether it is Barack Obama or John McCain. With a debt of up to $11 trillion there won’t be any money to fund anything.
