So a week before House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is scheduled to come to Nevada to raise money for state Sen. Dina Titus, the Democratic congressional hopeful indicates she would have voted against the bailout bill Pelosi unsuccessfully tried to get through the House on Monday. It will be quite humorous to see how Pelosi threads that needle — trying to praise Titus, who assailed the measure, while criticizing Rep. Jon Porter, who voted for the bill. And something tells me Rep. Shelley Berkley, who has not been on Pelosi’s good side for years, probably won’t be anywhere near the event. Berkley, like Titus, opposed the bill. But unlike Titus, she actually cast a vote against it, which I am sure thrilled Pelosi. Welcome to Nevada, Madame Speaker.
