Fatal shooting
A woman who was an innocent bystander was shot and killed Friday night after a group of men got into an altercation at a North Las Vegas business, police said.
North Las Vegas Police responded at 8:47 p.m. to a report of shots being fired at Sunny Market, 600 W. Lake Mead Blvd. Investigators said a preliminary investigation indicates the men got into an argument inside the store, then as the altercation escalated, the men moved outside the store and shots were fired.
A 46-year-old woman was found dead in a parking lot suffering from a gunshot wound, police said. She wasn't being identified Friday night.
Police weren't releasing information about possible suspects.
