Pahrump celebrity Heidi Fleiss has been sued by a former landlord, who claims Fleiss and her flock of pet birds caused more than $41,000 in damage to a home Fleiss rented.

Landlord Christiana Macknight alleges Fleiss, the former "Hollywood Madam," violated the terms of her lease by keeping more than 25 birds in the home, in violation of the rental terms not allowing pets.

The lawsuit, filed last month in Clark County District Court, says Fleiss rented the home at 171 Charleston View Ave. in Pahrump from December 2005 through March 2008.

"During Heidi Fleiss's occupancy of the property several things were damaged including: the porch, the garage, floors within the home, the bathroom, blinds, molding within the home and furniture in storage," the lawsuit says.

Macknight claims she has been unable to re-lease the property since Fleiss moved out.

Fleiss could not immediately be reached for comment.

In the past she has denied Macknight's allegations, which were published in April 2008 along with a photo gallery of apparent damage at the home by the celebrity Web site tmz.com. That gallery was headlined: "Heidi's House: Trashed!"

Fleiss, who has been operating a laundry, moved to Nevada in 2005 with the goal of opening a brothel featuring male prostitutes. She was arrested in February in Nye County on charges of driving under the influence, possessing prescription medication without a prescription and driving without a license.
