Troy Donald Craft, 76, of Las Vegas, died June 6.

He was born June 24, 1932, in Gallup, N.M., to Howard and Maude Craft. He moved to Henderson in 1944.

He attended Basic High School where he lettered in three sports and represented the school at Boy's State in 1950. After graduation, he worked for U.S. Lime until he entered the Air Force in 1952. In addition to being a trained engine mechanic, he worked as a security guard and bartender in Las Vegas until he retired.

He was a member of the American Legion and the Veterans of Foreign Wars in South Carolina.

He is survived by his brother, Norman and Nancy; sister-in-law Rita Craft; brother-in-law Lecile Smith; nieces Leslie and Mike Hawkins, Michele and Dan Diaz, Scotty Sue Smith and Kathy Craft; nephews Norman Jr. and Debbi Craft, Pat and Janet Hail, James and Valerie Craft, Howard Craft, Bobby and Linda Smith and Troy Smith; and 10 great nephews and five great nieces.

Services were held June 15, at Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

Donation may be made to the Veterans Cemetery.

Palm Mortuary in Henderson handled the arrangements.
